Fifty-word review

cloud nothings

4.5 out of 10

Scratchy electric guitar and whiny vocals in a sheen of reverb: tried, true, and gets old -- fast. If airy, lo-fi production begets the Cloud, these guys' melodic banality is our Nothing. After a few listens, I pined for formulaic pop-punk mixed well, and found it in Green Day's "Dookie."
