Fifty-word review
Golden Bloom's clumsy enunciation of what The New Pornographers so blithely express is the heartbreaking definition of unfair. They have the crunchy guitars; they have the falsetto-ed harmonics; they have the tinkling glockenspiels and soaring melodies. Sadly, it's all for naught. Compared to the Pornos, this is a weaker pop indeed.
