Fifty-word review
Brit prodigy James Blake is a figurehead of the post-dubstep movement – odd, given his soft-spoken, unassuming music. His debut is an exquisite demonstration of production mastery, indulging in silence as much as in sound. At first blush, these songs might seem simple; they’re not – Blake just makes it seem easy.
