Fifty-word review
Borrow It
Part New Wave-ish backbeats, part 60s rock, Lissy Trullie's Self-Taught Learner is catchy without a shred of pretension. Eschewing vague, cryptic lyrics, songs like "Boy Boy" and "Money" are suggestive and blunt, while her cover of Hot Chip's "Ready for the Floor" is a dance party in the making.
