A surprisingly cohesive compilation, given the breadth of Austin’s music scene. Inevitably, many worthy acts are left out – too many, really, for this collection to be anything but superficial. Nevertheless, it’s a decidedly enjoyable listening experience and a delightful sampling of Austin for those not fortunate enough to live there.
