Taking a step, or two, away from the traditional world of club music was an excellent decision for Mike Monday. This quirky, funk-soaked production has left me longing for more of the same. Rich, full synths, obscure vocal gibberish, and beats that break from your standard 4x4 house trend. Brilliant!
