PJ Harvey

Let England Shake

Let England Shake is a bitter elegy to an England spoiled by wars in her name and on her soil. With strains of familiar melodies and expansive instrumentation fierce and plaintive in its lament, Harvey conflates the personal and pastoral, rendering indistinguishable the damage done to her countryside and countrymen.
