At times ingenious (but mostly disingenuous), mixing James Murphy's production creativity and, most notably, taking a page from Prince, SS brings a delicious sound that gets your dance-reflex going. "Black & Gold" is irresistibly infectious, but when all is said and done these beats were better by the original artist.
