Fifty-word review

WAVVVES

Buy It

So many goths, so much beach. Wavvves packs in 36 minutes of fuzz and tape hiss, lo-fi-ing everything in its path. Surf noise pop? 50s or 80s? How many shades of throwback? I can't tell, but Wavvves slices through the revivals with distorted and schizophrenic energy -- perhaps post-modern pop?
