Juiceboxxx started his time on the stage by informing us that, "I have done three shows today. I want to die. Yeah and I want to die and puke. Those are two different things but." He then proceeded to wander about the stage and shortly thereafter the main floor, strutting back and forth as if the path from the stage to the crowd was his own personal runway.
Before beginning his own vocals, however, he insisted that we listen to this warm up song with him which turned out to be, in entirety, "Born To Run" during which he spent most of his time with his back to the crowd making epic type gestures along with Springsteen vocals. Though Juiceboxxx is not musically similar to Springsteen at all (he raps over electronic funky remix beats with some electronic filler and live guitar) I suppose the theme of just getting out there and doing your thing fit with the general message of Juiceboxxx, which despite the seemingly negative take on his own physical state, is mostly positive.
Mostly comprised of electronic beats and funky samples, I was a bit mystified where precisely the sound was coming from, as I didn't notice a laptop or such on stage and when one fan asked him where the music came from he responded with "they come from me" without further elaboration. On top of these samples and beats Juiceboxx laid down some rap vocals and some heavily effected live guitar which sounded almost like a keyboard, Juiceboxxx's high energy performance slowly drew the crowd in, realizing that maybe he does have some creative ideas beyond his intense and slightly odd stage persona, which cultivated with him ending the set lying on his back on the stage feinting a seizure and placing his two microphones (one was exclusively used for, "more reverb") into his eye sockets.
