Only three sets into my Bonnaroo 2010, Local Natives set the golden standard for awesome shows. Their run was impressive, drawing largely from the group's debut album, Gorilla Manor. Although the lead vocals were stretched a bit thin at times, syrupy sweet harmonies and infectious hooks covered any missed spots nicely, and no one seemed to notice. The band's cover of Talking Heads' "Warning Sign" drew a big response from the crowd, and Local Natives delivered on the promise of a classic tune re-imagined. It's hard not to see this band doing great things in the near future.
