"Do you feel like gettin' loose?" The Paradise Rock Club crowd answered the Carolina men of Megafaun with an emphatic yes, dancing and singing throughout their opening set for the Mountain Goats. The wide-grinning trio took great advantage of the packed, enthusiastic crowd, leading them in a call-and-response, encouraging clapping, and even recruiting an eager, front-row volunteer to accompany them with a blues harp (see photos). Though they claimed the job of an opening band is "one step up from a jukebox," they proved themselves wrong.
