What else we were talking about that week

I'm pretty sure the melophobe crew, collectively, have seen the Antlers more than any other band this past year (I count at least five shows). We love the band's live performance so much, that two of us even g-chatted through their entire NPR SXSW live stream, texting Chris Barth every time we saw him in the crowd. And as we first saw in Austin--where they premiered their latest release Burst Apart--the new album is just as emotionally gripping as Hospice when performed live. And dare I say, profoundly more sexy. Opening their Boston show with "Parentheses," Peter Silberman rhythmically pumped his guitar up and down, and I found myself blushing.

Check out our photos from the Paradise, and lots more melophobe Antlers geekiness in the links below. And while you're at it, check out our photos from opener Little Scream.
