Telekinesis

A bit of an odd pairing for this Under The Radar showcase, Telekinesis brought a bit of punk pop flavor to the otherwise cheerfully folky line-up of Owen Pallett, Surfer Blood, and Okkervil River. Unlike Surfer Blood, an enjoyable but visibly young band, Telekinesis seems road-worn and experienced despite only having one album under their belt. They seemed to be enjoying themselves throughout, each relishing the attention and the show of it all without stealing any thunder from the others on stage. It wasn't the most memorable set of the festival, but it was a fun blast of power on a sunny afternoon.
