As a prolific visual and musical artist, VanGaalen never disappoints. Soft Airplane’s basement recordings span from sweet, simple acoustic whims to elaborate, experimental statements. VanGaalen contemplates death and waking life with fragility, sincerity and great devotion. His quirky falsettos tie the pieces together with unrelenting charm.
