Stuart Murdoch's depressingly grown-up God Help The Girl sounds like Lily Allen in housewife mode. What it lacks in youthfulness, it makes up for with frivolous orchestration and showy erudition. These guys should see if A Prairie Home Companion needs a new band—my parents would eat this up.
