This is the album that will make Laura Veirs a household name outside of the Northwest. Beautiful, ambient opening track “I Can See Your Tracks” will knock the wind right out of you. As with her previous record, Saltbreakers, July Flame displays Veirs’ unmatched talent for communicating gravity through whimsy.
