Magic Kids make music for sweet, sappy youth. The Memphis band incorporates their own orchestra to compliment dazzling flower child vocal harmonies; think Christmas in July, but all year long. Don’t be mistaken, though – underneath the record’s cutesy shell lives appreciation for Brian Wilson, without the least bit of pretension.
