My Best Fiend

In Ghostlike Fading

6.1 out of 10

With a lead singer that sounds like Billy Corgan in drag, and guitar rhythm that doesn’t always match what surrounds it, this album fails to piece itself together. Airy instrumentation and choir vocals make for something of a spiritual enlightenment, but irregular pace, and occasionally fuzzy guitar, delete such comparisons.
