Whew. Sarah has magnificently escaped the long shadow of her first album. Ne'er again called "adult contemporary," I'll bet. Sarah displays a new depth in her sound and song-writing, her voice alternately pleading, weeping, insisting, seducing, and destroying. Matt's drums are precision perfected, complicated but contained. Bravo, brava, bravissimo.
