A frustrating listen. Soaring harmonies and spacey textures find themselves too often side by side with overly sincere vocals and melodramatic quasi-electronica. On balance the truly enjoyable moments outnumber the misses here, but the lack of coherence and implicit desire to be taken too seriously are a real disappointment.
*But for your own sanity, delete track 2, “Golden Sand” – Trust me.
