Dark, sexy music from Brooklyn duo Von Haze. “Sad Girls” - an aggressive, psychedelic song falling somewhere between Joy Division and Jefferson Airplane - stands out as the album’s best song. Though the group deserves a listen, there’s not enough originality or catchiness here to keep me interested for all that long.
