I think we should start today, nice and easy, with new Wilco tour dates. The press release is saying that it's going to be one of those "Evening With Wilco" type events, which is code for one band, long set. Yes, please! They are also going to be drawing from all seven of their albums and varying the sets every night. Which is huge for anyone that follows them since Wilco has a tendency to create a setlist for a tour and just hammer it home, night after night. And while I don't think Wilco fans are like Phish fans and need a lot of variance, it would be nice to see something like "Candyfloss" take the place of "Monday" every once is awhile. Variety is the spice of life and Nels needs new songs to tear apart. But no matter what songs they choose, they always deliver when I see them, so go if you can.
