Astronautalis

Seattle-transplant Astronautalis blends his stream of consciousness rhymes with formulaic song patterns rich with drunken sing-a-long choruses and breathy bridges in his latest single, "Dimitri Mendeleev." Named after a Russian chemist and inventor who penned the periodic table of elements, this track is the lead single to his upcoming album This Is Our Science, which is due September 13. For his fourth record he's employed the skills of Tegan Quin, P.O.S., Lazerbeak and Cecil Otter, as well as Grammy-nominated producer John Congleton. Way to get the big wigs!
