Does anyone else like hearing Dan Auerbach crooning "If it don't make dollars, then it don't make sense?" Because that's exactly what he does after RZA gets done attacking the verse on the appropriately named, "Dollars & Sense." After the chorus, BlakRoc (RZA and the Black Keys) flip the vibe and launch into "Tellin' Me Things." And just like the Mos Def/Jim Jones BlakRoc video I posted the other day, what comes out of the live collaboration between the Black Keys and some of hip hop's brightest (Jim James isn't included in that statement) is fist-pump worthy head-bangers that say to even the most jaded of us...the secret to rap/rock was blues, not metal. Enjoy.
