UPDATE: Rumors are now circulating that this album is really tracks for a GPS. C'mon, with an album called Drive Time and a song called "Turn Left," that is a TOTALLY plausible explanation.
With a hilariously small vinyl and poignant protest messages, Chromeo has set out to make the world's smallest, shortest and tiniest album. After recording in New York and mixing in London to capture their sound's essence, they have succeeded! Drive Time has 55 tracks that amount to only 183 seconds, or rather 3 minutes and 3 seconds, of music. Unfortunately there's only 40 copies available, so I suppose if you're not close to the band, you gotta start trolling eBay or wait for a digital copy to surface.
If you think this is a joke (I don't blame you), check out Chromeo talking about the album, playing on a tiny piano and giving you a first listen of "Turn Left:"
