How 'bout some new hip hop? Here's underground faves Cunninlynguists ft. E-40 and Evidence doing a new song called "Running Wild" from their upcoming album Strange Journey Volume Two (out Nov. 3). What we have here is a low toned piano leading the way with its trusty assistant, echo, filling in the blanks for the beat. Headnod track, sung hook, 40 water braggin' about his "tsunami flow" and "growing up in the ghetto where kids sell dope to their mamas," and a generally laid back vibe. Reminds me of Nappy Roots. It won't win awards, but it's a good listen.
