Freelance Whales covered a Devo track in style: glossing over the rigid beat of the original to make "Girl U Want" into a saccharine and slick track that features a very romantic banjo. They released it on Record Store Day as part of 7" split with their tour mates, Foals, who covered Swedish House Mafia's "One." However, this is definitely the stand-out track, and I am guilty of playing it on repeat to soothe the rougher parts of my day. Hopefully it will do the same for you.
