Cymbals Eat Guitars

Most songs build to a boom, "And The Hazy Sea" starts with one. When the noise dies down, and by noise I mean deranged wailing and an oscillating group of horns, Joseph D'Agostino comes in like a baby Isaac Brock, tearing at the air like his vocal cords were really a set of talons. Loud-Quiet-Loud baby! It sways, it rises and it falls and just when you think that the monster has gone to sleep, it re-emerges from its cave for one more freak-out before someone puts it back to bed. I love this song and I want you to love it too. Check it out here and go buy the Cymbals Eat Guitars album Why There Are Mountains. It's one of the most slept on discs of the year and it gets more rewarding with every new spin.
