Fitz & The Tantrums

This player (YouTube) didn’t survive.

Los Angeles by way of France soul singer Fitz (just one name apparently) wrote "Breakin' The Chains of Love" the night he bought an old church organ from a neighbor for fifty bucks. In fact, the old instrument inspired an EPs worth of retro-soul and Motown-influenced material titled Songs For A Break-UP, Vol. 1. For fans of Sharon Jones and Mark Ronson, this song's worth a listen.
