Florence + the Machine "You've Got The Love" (vid)

As the closer on what is sure to be a top ten album (Lungs), the video for Florence + the Machine's song, "You've Got The Love" casts Florence as a glamour doll cavorting atop a crescent moon, surrounded by smoke, sparkles and eventually extras from Studio 54. Her voice is huge, as is the song, but I wonder why they went with a poppy presentation when that feels so far removed from the general tone of the record. As an introduction, I think its a misfire, but don't let scare you off from checking her out. And I could be wrong, it might be exactly the right slice of life for your day. See if you like it and get the album on Oct. 20.
