I think this was the most musically and visually captivating moment of my week. Granted I'm already a sucker for M83, but the climax of 1.5 minutes was intensified by the signature sounds of Anthony Gonzalez mashed with multiple juxtapositions of beautifully captured images. The video was created as a teaser for his latest album due sometime this fall, and as a first glance at his collaborations with Beck, Zola Jesus and Morgan Kibby. I gotta say, if I was tech-savvy enough to put the video on loop, I'd be set for the day.
Gonzalez originally revealed his plans for a fresh LP to SPIN earlier this month, with some enlightening commentary but no samples for us to draw from as far as how "epic" it's anticipated to be. Well, the video below will prove just how epic and provide insight into the world his music will be designing in our minds.
