Beastie Boys
Sassy and slick, the latest single from Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 splits the duties of the Boys with Santigold almost 50/50. Enjoy the old school horns and fuzzy rhymes above and download for keeps at the bottom!
The Morning Benders
Chris Chu has been dropping jams like they're hot the past few days, and today he shared with us the first song he EVER wrote. "Grain of Salt" is a track with split personalities: at first its bouncy, fun and vaguely doo-wop, but then suddenly drops into a waltz with saccharine back-up vocals and French samples. Enjoy it via soundcloud below:
My Morning Jacket
When you hit play on this sucker, you might not be getting what you anticipate. I'm slightly baffled myself, as "Holdin Onto Black Metal" switches gears from their first single "Circuital" to include a majority of horns and what sounds like a children's choir. It maintains the same energy and enthusiasm, and even the same anthemic vibe they promised, but I don't know. It threw me for a loop. You can stream it on their Facebook page after you confirm that you like them. I'd love to hear people's opinions on this!
