Thanks again to the lovlies at NPR who have been recording live and documenting streams of performances from SXSW '11, because without them I wouldn't be able to tell you that you can hear The Antlers' latest album, Burst Apart, played start to finish live on their website. The setlist/tracklist below can guide you through the nearly 48 minutes of fresh material, which will be officially released May 10 via Frenchkiss:
Setlist:
"I Don't Want Love"
"French Exit"
"Parentheses"
"No Widows"
"Rolled Together"
"Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out"
"Tiptoe"
"Hounds"
"Corsicana"
"Putting the Dog to Sleep"
Sidenote: A bill was passed yesterday in the House of Representatives to cease federal funding to NPR. It hasn't gone to the Senate yet – CNN thinks the bill will get stopped there – but let's all cross fingers and/or write letters to our state senators letting them know how important NPR is to the music community so we can continue to get quality coverage.
/end political rant.
