Sometimes those right set of lips can perform acts that carry a gravity previously unthinkable. They move to help form the words that can give you peace of mind, enrage you or invigorate you. They contort to form the songs that can dictate any facet of your mood, the motions you make as you dance or the self-realizations you make when they give life clarity. Iron and Wine wants to explain how the right set of lips can clear you of any blemish. How you can kiss each other clean.
Set for release on January 25 via Warner Brothers, Kiss Each Other Clean is the fourth album by Sam Beam, a.k.a. Iron and Wine. After three years new material will surface, starting on Black Friday/Record Store Day (November 26) with a 12" single release of "Walking Far From Home." Normally I'd say stay the hell away from the frantic hordes on that insane marker of industrial growth but if it coincides with new music, then so be it!
