Twitter outbursts sometimes speak the truth in 140 characters or less and the current truth in Jay Reatard's life is that his band has ditched him. Or as the man without a band tweets:

I hate rich kids too, Jay. That's why I was hesitant to post that Vampire Weekend track yesterday. They think just because they went to an Ivy League school and sing songs about Horchatas that they know what's up. But, they don't. Punk ROCK!
