Melophobe regrets to direct you to cross a darlin off the list: Nikki Darlin (of Those Darlins) has succumbed to the wiles of John McCauley (of Deer Tick). The comely pair went and got themselves engaged before a sizable crowd assembled for the Deer Tick/Grace Potter/Jones Street Station show in glorious Prospect Park, Brooklyn. We were sad to miss the show for purely musical reasons to start with, but were especially so when we learned how much gravy we missed. The pair was adorable/disgusting together at SXSW (I believe Nikki kicked John off the stage at Club DeVille under threat of being "kiss[ed] to death"), so we're positively thrilled for them, and wish'em luck.
Now get a room.
