From 2006 to 2008, photgrapher Lauren Dukoff—a best friend of Devendra Banhart since high school—documented the freak-folk scene's artists and extended community for the collection Family. The book ($35) includes photos of Banhart and friends Vashti Bunyan, Bat For Lashes, and Andy Cabic of Vetiver. There are a few pictures available as wallpapers here, as well as a few songs from the book's accompanying soundtrack.
