In Europe, The Pixies are running through their deep gusher of an album, Doolittle, to what I assume is a mix of rapturous applause and 'I saw them before you did' showdowns. The U.S. will have their day in the sun soon though, so don't worry U.S.ers. However, if you can't make it to a Doolittle show, the band has thought of another option that might work for you. How about 8 shows, professionally recorded, in either limited edition CD or digital download format of their gigs in Europe? That's pretty fair I think. The store link is HERE for the fanatics/people wanting to play catch up. Let me know how they are if you get them. And play "Hey" really loud and really late at night.
