I have a hard time making myself relax. I could easily just keep working and cleaning and running and push and pull and push and pull and . . . until I'm almost at a breaking point and just need to exist. Holy Spirits is helping me do that right now. Harmonious vocals swelling like the ocean over finger-picked shifting guitar melodies featured in "Bridges" pull me away from a riotous environment to bestow four minutes of peace.
"Bridges" is the single off Holy Spirits free EP, The Afternoon's Blood. You can hear and download the whole release on their bandcamp, and of course, I've shared "Bridges" on this post in stream, download and visual formats. The video is just as soothing as the song sans video, and it's made entirely with 40-year-old magazines that were hand cut, scanned and digitally montaged. Director Nathaniel Whitcomb has made a video for each song on the EP, so expect to see at least a couple of them snatched for a video backlog.
