Replacing the vibrating guitar with warped and warm synth layers, Washed Out paired up with his wife Blair Greene to cover one of Chris Isaak's more prominent singles, "Wicked Game." Friendly Fires
Thanks to a drop-in at BBC Radio, Friendly Fires got a chance to broadcast their little monsters within. Covering Lady Gaga's latest single, "The Edge of Glory," the British dance-pop trio smoothed out the vocals with their lovely tenor and switched up the drum machine to the real deal for a more organic sound. 'Course, there is no replacement for the amazing sax solo (R.I.P. Clarence), but Friendly Fires does a decent job of adding a dreamy layer of keyboards instead. Stream the cover below via YouTube.
