Paradise could be a lot of different things to a lot of different people. If we are to believe song titles, Robin Guthrie's (formerly of the Cocteau Twins and super shoegaze producer) version of paradise sounds something like a cross between a spa treatment and that moment in the dream where you have taken flight. His new single, Some Sort Of Paradise is a lush, dream poppy affair that wraps the listener in a warm blanket of sound. It's great music to get lost in and though its an instrumental track, you don't have to relegate it to the background.
Album is called Carousel, due out September 28th on Darla Records.
