PAX AM have shared details about the upcoming Ryan Adams and the Cardinals double LP titled Cardinals III/IV on their fancy new website. Described as a hybrid of all the members' childhood influences, this collection from three years past features themes such as the '80s, ninjas, pizza, cigarettes and sex. Not necessarily in that order.
According to the label's site, 60 songs were recorded in the 2007 sessions, and only a few were chosen for Easy Tiger. The remaining finished 21 songs will now get a fancy issue on colored discs . . . "shortly." I know, it's vague, but that's unfortunately what we have right now.
What we do have though is the above image showing you the well-designed packaging for the double LP, below a tracklisting and at the very tippy-top a teaser download from the 2007 sessions, "Riffage 2." You can hear Riffages 2-6 at PAX AM.
