Every single time I listen to St. Vincent's Actor, it gets better. And not by a little bit, by a lot. It's so rich and inviting, managing to balance the 3 pronged hat of intellectual goodie bag, structurally edgy and melodically brilliant. So damn good is it's calling card and your gateway in is "The Strangers." This version is from KCRW's (essential) Morning Becomes Eclectic program and I doubt you'll cast a low eye my way for posting it.
