After ten years in hiding, Superchunk has released a new album, Majesty Shredding, and NPR is giving you the opportunity to hear them perform for free from Washington, DC's 9:30 Club. They go on at about 11 p.m. EST, so set your alarm and West Coasters set yours for 8 p.m. I've heard NPR stream a few bands live, including an Animal Collective show I attended, and I can vouch personally for their excellence in quality. In listening to the stream post-show, I felt like I was there again.
