Welcome to the Shins 2.0, also known as Surfer Blood. They just have a touch more fuzz, beefer riffs and more songs about aquatics. Listen and tell me that's not James Mercer Jr. on vocals. Comparisons aside, there's a lot to like about Surfer Blood, their new album, Astro Coast (which is great) and one of their signature songs, "Swim."
