I may be out of the loop, but I haven't seen Trent Reznor's music featured in a movie since The Crow. That said, I'm pretty stoked to see that he has contributed to at least five tracks on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie based on Facebook's origins, Social Network. Trent's label Null Corporation is offering these tracks as a free download at their website as fancy sampler to market the soundtrack and inadvertently reveal the tone of the movie.
The entire soundtrack comes out September 28, and the movie comes out October 1. Based on the demure moodiness and ominous mischievousness laid out in the ambiance of each song, this could be a pretty intense drama for a movie based on one of the most mind/time-consuming social networks in the U.S. My personal favorite off the sampler is "Eventually We Find Our Way", which is found above for your listening pleasure and below for your downloading pleasure.
