Violens (a heady mix of "violence" and "violins") is celebrating the recent re-release of its self-titled debut EP with a couple of free remixes. The first is a reinterpretation of the EP's opening track, "Already Over" by Kurt Heasley of Lilys. Heasley's given the track a little more bounce by placing more emphasis on the song's bass groove and beat. Caroline Polacheck of Chairlift has also created a video remix for the original featuring a heavy dose of a young George Michael. Watch it here. Stay tuned for remixes from MGMT, RAC, Subtle People and Lansing-Dreiden.
