No one is drawing blood under this bridge downtown. They'd rather project out a color box spectacle that looks like a Simon Says game showing off. And what's interesting about Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) and the rest of Volcano Choir choosing this as the way to give the first visual representation of their new album, Unmap is that, in a way, it mimics the album cover. That cover depicts a shrouded figure in a golden blanket, standing in a snow covered forest. The blanket is the blast of color in an otherwise neutral landscape. Same goes for the video. What is projected onto the side of the bridge is the color blast in that neutral landscape. You can draw your own conclusions from that, but I think it was worth mentioning.
