Regardless of how your weekend went down, new music continued to pump out in the blogosphere, waiting for you to come back to your week so you can snatch it up for days to come. So break out of the Monday blues with tracks to excite, entice and amuse.
Little Dragon
Off-putting synth melodies and gorgeous lilting vocals complement one another in Little Dragon's latest single, "Nightlight." It's all too easy to get sucked into the beat, especially as the ending begs for repetition in order to be completely satiated. Hear it above, snag at the bottom and keep on eye out for their third album, Ritual Union, which comes out July 12.
The Lonely Island
SNL superstars and comedic aficionados The Lonely Island are coming out with a sophomore album to put them out of the slump. Let's face it, the past few digital shorts haven't exactly been musical jewels waiting to be polished and stored. Thankfully they busted out the title track to Turtleneck & Chain this weekend, which revealed Snoop Dogg as one of many guests appearing on the album.
Simultaneously mocking crunk rap and yuppies with baritone voice modulations and subject matter centered around light beer, "Turtleneck & Chain" begs to join the ranks of hilarious music videos featured on SNL. The album drops May 10, with guest appearances also by Akon, Beck, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Michael Bolton, John Waters, Santigold and Kenan Thompson.

Tyler, The Creator
Thanks to a yo-yo trick video (what?), we are now privy to the latest from Tyler, The Creator's Goblin, "Tron Cat." Bearing a menacing beat that has now become a stylistic norm, this track is easier heard than explained. 'Sides, some of the nuances are too good to spoil.
